Holiday Shipping Delays and Updates

Updated 12/21/20: If you are shopping for holiday, the only guaranteed product we can offer is a gift card.  We continue to offer overnight shipping, however, we cannot guarantee your package will make it by Christmas due to the unprecedented carrier delays.

This page is the most up to date source of information on your order status and any possible delays in shipping and delivery time.  We've also addressed the most commonly asked questions and concerns regarding shipping below. 

Orders and Shipping

Orders are processing and shipping as normal from our warehouse (typically within 1-2 days). We pass off packages to our shipping carriers multiple times a day.

increased demand for services due to the pandemic, combined with related staff shortages and an increase from holiday shopping is causing a severe backlog in many facilities. Even though orders have been processed by us on time, please understand there is a high likelihood that you will see delays as the package is received and processed into the carriers' networks. Unfortunately, this is out of our control and we ask for your patience during these unprecedented times. 

Holiday deliveries are not guaranteed

With the holidays just around the corner, we are actively monitoring the tracking and delivery of all orders. That being said, the Christmas shipping cut-off dates are earlier than normal this year and we have passed our cut-off date to guarantee holiday receipt. 

If you want the best chance of your order arriving in time for the holidays, we recommend selecting FedEx Standard overnight shipping at checkout by December 20th with overnight shipping. We are currently seeing overnight shipments deliver on-time, but the carriers are not currently providing guarantees.

 Commonly Asked Shipping Questions:

The tracking on my order shows the package is in "Pre-Shipment" -- has it been shipped?

Yes, if your order has a shipping label it has left our warehouse by the end of the day. All packages are handed off to the possession of the respective carrier on the day the shipping label is created. We are currently seeing a delay in packages receiving their initial scan as carriers continue to do their best to keep up with the influx of packages this holiday season. Carriers are often not scanning packages until further along in transit (and sometimes not until delivery).

My USPS package has not had a tracking update in several days, is it lost?

It is highly unlikely. At the moment due to the backlog in many USPS facilities a failure for a package to update in tracking is not indicative of the package being lost. We have found that delayed packages do reach their destination, and breaks in tracking scans are normal at this time. We recommend signing up for Text Message Updates on your package as that often helps spur an update in tracking. 

My Fedex Package says "Delivery Date Pending", is it lost?:

No, this means that Fedex is experiencing some delays and will be shifting your expected arrival date. Once your package has a set delivery date, Fedex will update that information. We have found that these delayed packages do reach their destination.

If your package has exceeded 3 weeks in transit, we would be happy to help resolve the situation, beginning with filing an inquiry with the carrier on your behalf. Please note that due to the overwhelming number of packages at carrier facilities, the carrier response time to these requests may be delayed.
