We're proud to continue our partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF): a non-profit dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer through impactful research, family support, and nationwide awareness.
Since 2018, we've donated over $1 million to support their mission. And this June, we're calling on our incredible community to help us go even further!
Introducing the Lemonade Stand Challenge
From June 1-30, we're hosting our first-ever Lemonade Stand Challenge to raise funds and awareness for ALSF — and we want you on our team.
Here's how to join:
• Register your own lemonade stand and become part of our official Little Sleepies team.
• Create a fundraising page and share it far and wide with family, friends, and your local community.
• Get festive! Top fundraisers and the five most creative stand setups will each win a $250 Little Sleepies gift card.
• Tag your posts with #TeamLittleSleepies and share your sweet moments with us @littlesleepies — we'll be shouting out fundraisers and sharing downloadable resouces all month long in our Facebook VIP Group.
Whether you're pouring lemonade curbside or collecting donations online, every effort brings us one step closer to a cure.
The Heart Behind the Mission
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation began with the extraordinary vision of a young girl named Alex Scott. At just 4 years old, after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma, Alex decided she wanted to help other kids like her. She opened a lemonade stand in her front yard — determined to raise $1 million to support cancer research.
Though Alex passed away at the age of 8, she reached her goal and inspired a movement that continues to grow. Today, her legacy lives on through ALSF, which has raised more than $250 million, funded over 1,000 research projects, and provided critical support to thousands of families navigating the unimaginable.
The Impact of ALSF
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation isn't just about fundraising — it's about showing up for families, driving discovery, and bringing hope where it's needed most. Their key initiatives include:
• Family Support: ALSF offers travel grants, sibling programs, and bereavement resources to help ease the financial and emotional burdens families face during treatment.
• Research Funding: By supporting innovative research at nearly 150 institutions, ALSF is advancing the fight for safer, more effective treatments — and ultimately, cures.
• Raising Awareness: Through nationwide events and campaigns, the foundation keeps pediatric cancer in the spotlight, helping to spark change and inspire action.
