    May be more appropriate for older girls

    I purchased two of these dresses for my twin, 2-year old girls (size 2T). I was surprised on how big the neckline was on each of them— the dresses dropped off their shoulders and exposed too much of their chests. Unfortunately way too big for them, and no where in the product description did it mentioned dropped neckline. I tightened them with safety pins to make it work for our Christmas photos, but disappointed with how they hung off their bodies for the price. Usually I’m a huge LS fan and adore all of their prints! This one was a huge let down for me.

    DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS DRESS (but you could sleep in it)!!

    I had my eye on this from the moment it dropped! The pictures do not do this dress justice at all; it is absolutely gorgeous in person. The plaid is such a classic holiday look but the addition of the smocked top, moderately puffed sleeves, and the beautiful neckline with the subtle ruffle look make it the perfect Christmas dress. Both my daughters were so excited to try it on and they both refused to take it off once they were in it. The twirl is *twirling* and my kids could not stop spinning around the living room in it! We buy too much LS to review everything but this dress deserved the review. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! I hope to do smocked dresses for many Christmases to come.
