Doudou Sammy le bonhomme de neige endormi product page

Many families start introducing a lovey around 6 to 12 months, often during supervised playtime or awake snuggle sessions so baby can start forming an attachment to it. For sleep, the general guidance aligns with safe sleep recommendations: soft objects should be kept out of the sleep space for at least the first 12 months. Our Sleepyhead Lovey should not be left unattended with children under 2 years old. As always, check in with your pediatrician about the right timing for your child specifically.

Lovey blankets can be a wonderful comfort object for little ones when used with the right precautions. Our Sleepyhead Lovey features baby-safe embroidered details and is made with an ultra-soft bamboo blend, but as with any plush toy, it should not be left unattended with children under 2 years old. It's also worth noting that Lovies are not teething toys, so it's a good idea to redirect your little one if they start chewing on it. When used with age-appropriate supervision, a lovey can become a really meaningful part of your child's comfort routine.
