The 2026 Baby Names Parents Are Obsessing Over

Choosing a baby name is one of the most deeply personal decisions you’ll make as a parent. Maybe you’ve had a special name written in your Notes app since you were nineteen. Maybe you’re 38 weeks along and still scrolling through baby name sites at 3 am, or maybe your name was predestined by family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Whatever your naming journey looks like, we've created our 2026 baby name guide for you — packed with the year's biggest baby name trends, built entirely from actual baby name ideas shared by our VIP community

Whether your top contender is on our popular baby names of 2026 list or a secret favorite only you and your partner know about, there's no one right way to name a baby.

Here are a few things our VIP community swears by when deciding what to call your little one though: say the full name out loud a few times, write it down on paper, and see how it feels after a couple of days. And remember, even if you're "set" on a name now, it's completely okay to wait until you meet your baby to make it official.

Whatever you land on, we know it'll be the perfect fit. Happy naming, LS fam!

As a grandma (memaw) I always hoped for another boy in the family. We have a Aiden and Gabriel. Was hoping for an Elliott which could be a girl name also. But alas no more babies.

I was surprised to see “Wilder” on the list. We’re expecting our “Wilder Hayes” in November of 2026 and it’s not a common name in our area. It makes me feel better knowing it’s more popular than I thought, because I get some strange looks when I tell people his name. 😅

We have had 2 little girls in the past year and a half and their names are Willa and June! I didn’t see them on the list but a lot of people say they fall in the “grandma inspired” section. I love reading through name lists to see all of the trending names :)
