The thing about summer is it always goes by too fast. Those little moments (like sharing an ice cream, neighborhood walks, and pool days) begin to blur with the big ones (like family vacays, birthdays, learning to ride a bike, or losing their first tooth) — which is why it’s important to write it down and document the smiles. That’s why we created this Summer Report Card to double as a special keepsake to look back on.
From filling in the basics to recapping the good stuff with prompts that spark reflection, like “Something new I tried…” and “The most delicious thing I ate…”, this report card is the sweetest summer memory keepsake for kids. We even included a spot to rank their top three summer moments, arguably the hardest part of the whole assignment.
Grab Your Grading Supplies
While there’s no wrong way to fill this out, we recommend making it even more fun by grabbing some supplies: stickers, photos, tape, crayons, or markers. They can use these to draw their favorite summer memory, include their favorite picture from the season, or write their name in the craziest color combo they can dream up. We give it all 5 gold star stickers, personally.

We even included a section in the report card for your little one to write what their favorite summer pajamas are — which creates an opportunity for them to wear them one last time.
