You don't have to be a devoted football fan to enjoy the Super Bowl - even if your team didn't make the cut this year. All you need is some creativity and kids ready to have fun with you on game day!

Have a ball with your kids and friends during the Super Bowl with these ideas made for entertaining and scoring big fun.

Even if you're making a snap decision, these ideas will keep it easy!

Make Fun Snacks Together

One of the best parts of watching the Super Bowl is the fun food you can enjoy together. Everyone will have a ball creating football-inspired food for your guests. Here are some easy ideas for the entire family.

Guacamole makes a wonderful football field. Spread it on a short and long dish, and use olives, cheese strips, and pretzels to create the lines and numbers on the football field.

One football team has 11 players. Two teams are 22 players. Bake cupcakes and frost them to match this year's Super Bowl players. Match the frosting to the teams, and let the kids add numbers to the cupcakes.

Celebrate the pigskin with pigs in a blanket. Let the kids wrap the pastry around short hot dogs or other sausages. Cook and dip in your kid's favorite sauce.

Create Colorful Decorations

Spend time together in your Family Matching pajamas to design decorations for the Super Bowl. This is an easy way for everyone to get game day ready. And then show them off all week - everyone will get a kick out of the flare!

Cut triangles to create pendants, and let them create designs and use the team colors.

Create placemats with sheets of paper, and enjoy eating on them on game day.

Build a game day paper chain with strips of paper in the team colors.

Dress for Your Team

Did your team make the Super Bowl this year? Then you are likely getting the entire family in the festive spirit! Make sure to dress your family in those team colors and keep them comfortable at the same time!

From our solid Two-Piece pajamas to our Twirl Dresses, our collection of solids are ready to celebrate a victory with you! Layer a Zippy with your team's colors or pair some Joggers with a team jersey!

Stand Up for the Kick-off

Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m EST/3:30 p.m. PST and the countdown is pretty exciting. Keep the kids active and get everyone on board with a family cheer for the kick-off!

Start by practicing chants and then work on your moves! If you love it enough, use the family cheer each time a player scores a touchdown. Remind them that teamwork makes the dream work!

Enjoy Halftime Games

During the regular season, halftime is 13 minutes. But during the Super Bowl, halftime can last 20-30 minutes. The halftime show is a popular thing to watch, but we have other ideas for the kids! Spend those 20 minutes getting active!

If you don't have enough football in your day, play a quick game of football with the kids. This doesn't have to be a serious game but just a chance to throw the football around!

Create a minute-to-win-it game that challenges both adults and kids. Each team gets a bucket and 10 small, soft footballs. Place the teams far apart. Each player has one minute to get as many of the small footballs into a bucket.

Get outside and play a game of hut, hut, goose (like duck, duck, goose but more festive for the occasion).

Go on a walk! It's an easy way to get out of the house and get some fresh air.

Dedicate a Kid Viewing Party

If you're hosting this year's Super Bowl party, lay out our Game Day Cloud Blanket® and give the kids a special spot in the same room or another space to watch the game. Make it special with small furniture, their own decorations (see above activity), dedicated snacks, and a lot of space to bounce around - everyone will have a ball!

Do Some Math

Football has a lot of math in the game. It takes 10 yards to make a first down. A touchdown is six points. The game is played during for 15-minute quarters. For the older kids, use the game to keep them paying attention while practicing math. Have extra sheets of paper and color markers to write the equations so they can keep track of their work.
