Out with the Clutter, In with the Calm

Find space for what matters

"Declutter and give my kids more of a family room/play area in our basement. Finally, it feels like things are less chaotic." ~ Joanne K.

Say goodbye to the "stuff"

"Getting rid of all the 'stuff'... why is there always so much stuff?!?" ~ Makayla B.

Get rid of one thing per day

"Get rid of 365 things around the house. I have a tendency to hoard things I 'think' I may need later... so this year my goal is to get rid of at least one thing a day!" ~ Taniesha T.

Make room for more LS

"Clean the house and declutter anything that doesn't bring happiness or use to our family. It will make more room for LS!" ~ Amber B.

Move Your Body (& Make It Fun!)

Commit to daily movement

"Go for an hour walk every day whether it's on my walking pad or outside!" ~ Kate B.

Build exercise into your routine

"More walks and movement in my daily routine, more reading and less screen time, and getting a stroller my autistic son can fit comfortably in." ~ Olivia L.

Make movement a family affair

"Exercise more regularly and include my son in physical activity... going on walks, more park time, etc." ~ Megan R.

Take your dog with you, too!

"More outside family time and taking our dog for more walks." ~ Katie T.

Put Screen Time on Timeout

Make dinner a screen-free zone

"No phones and tablets at dinner. My kid thinks dinner means TV and I don't want him growing up associating TV with food. Also, it's intentional family time!" ~ Jessica G.

Be intentional with your time

"Focusing on being present and off of my phone, especially in the evenings after work, and starting a morning routine!" ~ Ashlyn W.

Put the phone away for family

"Spending less time on my phone and more time in the moment with my family." ~ Allissan M.

Remember What Really Matters

Worry less about the future

"2026 is going to be more about being present! Not worrying so much about the future and enjoying what's happening right now. We just had our third and final baby, so I'm soaking it all in." ~ Shelby H.

Give yourself grace

"I want to learn when the days feel long and hard, that I am learning just like my daughter is. I also want to slow down to enjoy the little moments because in the blink of an eye, she's not a newborn anymore." ~ Chelsey W.

Try presence over perfection

"Being more present. Working in an office after working at home is tough to balance. I want to ensure my kids feel seen, heard, and important. Time moves too fast." ~ Heather H.

Say yes to more joy

"Say 'yes' more... more to my kids asking for me to play, more to my husband wanting to go out, more to my friends to meet up or if I need help, and yes to myself for self-love and care." ~ Gabrielle F.

Do Something to Fill Your Own Cup

Pursue a creative passion

"My goal is to write a poem every month to submit to my local art museum's ekphrastic poetry contest. I love to write and want to make more time for my writing." ~ Ashley S.

Document your memories

"Learn how to take professional photos and be able to document them as my children grow up. Mainly for scrapbooks!" ~ Gracie H.

Prioritize your wellness

"Focusing on my overall wellness and mental health! Giving myself more grace. I pour every drop into my kids and need to give some to myself more. Going to be hard, but I need to be the best me for my family." ~ Dawn P.

Let loose a little!

"Dancing more and letting more stuff go. Life is too short to be as uptight as I feel some days." ~ Kate L.

Learn something new

“Learning to make more things from scratch! (Breads, sauces, pasta, butter, etc)” ~ Mary R.

Family Budget for the Big Stuff

Pay it off, then take that trip

"Pay off credit cards so we can take a trip to the beach in April!" ~ Bailey N.

Work towards your goal

"Working towards buying a new house this summer! Our family has outgrown our first home, and we want our kids to have their own rooms." ~ Allison M.

Have a savings plan

"Saving $20 a day for the year starting January 1st to help pay debt at the end of the year." ~ Stephanie S.
