The material has a cooling effect at first and is just heavy enough to almost feel like my baby is wrapped in a hug. She loves it for contact naps- lay her on my chest and this blanket over her backside and homegirl is in heaven. I debated spending that kind of money on a blanket for literal years but honestly, well worth it. My husband also loves it and I see an oversized at some point in our future budget willing lol. I also got the Zippie in this print and it is *chefs kiss* as well.
